Baldwin Pools worked with QBuild - Queensland Department of Public Works - to construct a swimming pool for the Baralaba State School P & C. Baralaba is in the coal rich district of Banana, about two hours drive southwest of Gladstone.
The 25 metre, 6 lane, competition standard pool was built to Q Build’s strict specifications for structure and finish and was highly praised by the client and QBuild. Its primary uses are learn-to-swim classes, competition and community recreation, providing relief from the unrelenting heat of the central Queensland summer.
The pool was constructed with 2 expansion joints, 300mm deep waterline tile band, Kingcrete epoxy pool lining, Antiwave starting blocks and lane ropes.
